Lee’s shed build
I built my 10 x 12 shed following Brad’s plans and videos.
He was incredibly informative and charming. I can’t tell you how many times I watched each sequence over and over. It was a pleasure working with him.
I added a couple of extras that drove up the price significantly. But I am super happy and proud of the outcome.
I added glass doors to my plan. And some extra windows for style.
I’m going to stain the pressure treated steps next spring.
This was by far the most difficult part. I was building on a slope - on Long Island with freezing ground. I had to set this below the frost line. And figure out how to keep everything square and plumb. But somehow I figured it out.
With time - it all turned out level and square.
Get someone to help raise the front wall!
Getting some skin on the building is very satisfying.
Replacing my lousy old shed.
Getting some protection.
It was a rough winter ‘25-’26
Furring strips for the wood siding - to match our house.
My goal was to build a shed that complimented the house.
Hooked up a few lights to my existing low voltage landscape lighting system.
I build a solid workbench to use as home base.
I went the extra step to stain the walls to add some brightness.
Finally. Getting organized.
I laid down some sheet vinyl flooring to finish the look. $100- what a difference.
